Introducing Steve Cooper

We are pleased to welcome Steve Cooper to the Heritage Explorer Team. Steve is based in our Liverpool office, a short train journey from his home in Rainhill where he was born and bred. An experienced entrepreneur across multiple industries, Heritage Explorer are excited to use Steve’s business skills to help grow the PM community.

Whilst working towards his Exercise, Health and Fitness degree at Salford university, competing for St Helens Sutton AC and coaching junior athletes, Steve spotted an opportunity for a 100% delivered-fitness gym model. Over 5 years, from the very first fitness session at Steve’s old high school to a management buy-out, Steve built the company to serve over 30,000 people, employ 19 instructors and helped to build sustainable incomes for 7 personal trainers. The growth, potential and resilience demonstrated along the way earned Steve the Halton Chamber award for Entrepreneur of The Year in 2013 (1).

“Running a high-growth business in the fitness industry was a great learning curve but I’m looking ahead to bigger and better things. Heritage Explorer is incredibly exciting as it combines three areas of the business world that I find fascinating; cultivating communities, building property portfolios and crowdfunding. The idea that anyone can become a property investor at any level of financial commitment is ground-breaking. I feel honoured to be given the opportunity to be involved’.

Steve is an excited, creative and driven individual with experience that has been learned under pressure in a highly competitive industry. We think he’ll be an asset to the team, enabling us to serve more investors, more often.

Away from Heritage Explorer , Steve is a self-confessed “business nerd” who spends time on self development and seeking out the most creative and exciting business ideas. Steve is a keen runner, a casual triathlete and he is looking forward to encouraging the Heritage Explorer team to complete their first group fitness challenge of the year.
